Tryon Farm Conservation Community

Tryon Farm is an architecturally diverse conservation community located about an hour outside of Chicago. Three quarters of the community’s 170 acres remain undeveloped. The landscape is comprised of woods, restored meadows, and wetlands. The homes range in style from contemporary to modern to traditional and somehow the varied designs blend seamlessly in this beautiful, natural setting.
Living options include lofts, cottages, and traditional homes with
square footage ranging from 400 to 3,500. Prices originally ran from
$170,000 to $490,000. All original properties sold, but homes come back on the
market from time to time.
Right now there are two homes on the
market. One is a one-bedroom contemporary loft with an open floor plan and
private garden/patio listed for $230,000 and the other is a gorgeous
modern two-bedroom with bamboo floors set in the woods and listed for
$245,000.
Tryon Farm includes a community farm and restored barn bed and breakfast for guest overflow. The community also hosts regular events centered around nature such as conservation lectures and potluck suppers. The unique architecture combined with the beautiful natural setting make Tryon Farm a truly beautiful and enviable community.
